1) Introduction
A customer ("User") wishing to use the products of Tritetrad ("Company") must agree to the terms of service ("Agreement").
2) Terms of Service
The "User" applies for a non-exclusive, non-sublicensable license to use products produced and wholly owned by the "Company". Part of the license application requires the "User" to provide identifiable information. This helps the "Company" verify from time to time that the "User" can rightfully exercise the license to use its products. If the "User" attempts to use any product of the "Company" prior to acquiring the license, then the "Company" will take action and render the product inoperable. Should the "User" subsequently apply for the license, the "Company" reserves the right to grant, deny, or ignore the request.
Some of the features in the products are locked behind paywalls, so the "User" agrees that he/she will need to supply payment details to more fully utilize the products covered under the license. It is assumed that any purchases issued by the "User" were done with his/her consent. The "Company" is not liable for any accidental purchases or subscription renewals, and moreover it will not issue refunds unless it deems the action appropriate.
A subset of the pay-to-use features are intrinsically tied to the local machine (e.g. phone, tablet) hosting the product used to make the original purchase. The "User" agrees that if he/she wants to use a given paid feature on another machine, he/she will have to purchase it again for the latter device. For some of these secondary setups, the "User" should still have access to his/her primary setup as the "Company" may not have all the "User" credentials stored in its records.
If the payment information for the "User" becomes invalid (e.g. an expired credit card or a closed bank account), the "User" is solely responsible for updating his/her information on all interfaces used to process in-product purchases. It is important to note that some of the payment interfaces may belong to third-party financial services. The "Company", for its part, will notify the "User" of an invalid payment method once it detects the error.
While authorized to use the products of the "Company" under the aforementioned license, the "User" must do so without engaging in illegal or immoral activities. Examples include trolling customers through in-product communication channels or networking with other extremists to plan an act of terrorism. Failure to comply with the rules of fair conduct will result in the revocation of the license, termination of accounts associated with the license, and potential disclosures with law enforcement.
At any time, a licensed "User" can enable his/her notification settings to receive updates about a given product or in-product events from fellow customers. Conversely, the "User" can disable these settings to limit the amount of communication between him/her and the "Company". Still, the "Company" may disregard the preferences of the "User" and send messages it deems to be urgent (e.g. payment method is invalid).
In the event that the "User" wishes to stop using a product of the "Company", he/she can request either an account deactivation or termination. If an account is deactivated, then the "User" reserves the right to reactivate his/her product account at a later date. However, if an account is terminated, then the "User" will be unable to recover his/her product account.
